Lookback 2012.  Best QBs of rookie class:

1) Russell Wilson

  • Career Passer Rating - 100.6!
  • Second Highest Rookie Passer Rating in history.
  • Superbowl Ring
  • How does he perform on the stage?  Passer Rating of 123.1 in the Superbowl!
  • Efficiency
    • 8.09 Yards / Attempt (Best of the Group)
    • 6.5% Touchdowns / Attempt (Best of the Group)

2) Nick Foles

  • Career Passer Rating - 101
  • Passer Rating of 119 in 2013
    • which is the third highest in history behind only two other seasons.  One for Peyton Manning and one for Aaron Rodgers
  • Efficiency
    • 7.89 Yards / Attempt (Second Best of the Group)
    • 5.7% Touchdowns / Attempt (Second Best of the Group)


3) Robert Griffin III

  • Career Passer Rating - 91.5
  • Highest rookie passer rating in history
  • RG3 might be higher on this list if it were not for an untimely knee injury and an apparent fetish for taking risks/hits.
  • Efficiency
    • 7.54 Yards / Attempt (Third Best of the Group)
    • 4.2% Touchdowns / Attempt (Third Best of the Group)

4) Andrew Luck

  • Career Passer Rating - 81.5
  • Most yards of the group at 8,196.  Unfortunately he got most yards while being least efficient of all of the 4 mentioned quarterbacks listed so far.

    • Only 3.8% Touchdowns / Attempt
  • Major Accomplishment - Attempting more passes than any of the above quarterbacks.

5) Ryan Tannehill

  • In most stat areas just slightly behind Andrew Luck
